Summary. The results of field experiments on the study of potato cultivars created by Russia and Belarus breeders are presented. The investigations were carried out as a part of the programme of the Union State "Innovative development of production of potatoes and girasol". The environmental test was carried out in sub-taiga zone of Omsk region. During the potato cultivation under conditions of water deficiency in July and the beginning of August without application of intensification means (fertilizers, pesticides, irrigation) the most resistant to stress factors varieties were selected; among them were Liga, Zhukovsky Ranny, Udacha, Alena, Kamensky (from 20 to 24 t/ha). Under sufficient moisture conditions varieties Meteor, Kamensky, Liga, Manifest (from 30 to 36 t/ha) differed by maximal yields. By the starch content in tubers varieties Liga, Alena, Manifest, Zhuravinka, Lileya (from 14.1 to 15.3 %) were distinguished. The most starch content in the experiment was noted for the variety Khozyayushka, 19.2 %. Against the background of Phytophthora epiphytoty varieties Lileya, Vektar Belorussky, Yanka, Khozyayushka, Skarb, Liga had high field resistance. Zhuravinka, Lileya, Manifest, Uladar, Breeze, Vektar Belorussky, Liga, Khozyayushka, Yanka were the most resistant to blackspot. In general, on the set of the main economically valuable characteristics in sub-taiga zone of Western Siberia varieties Liga, Manifest, Lileya, Alena, Kamensky, Khozyayushka, Meteor showed an advantage.

Keywords: potato varieties, environmental test, yield, viral disease, blackspot, late blight.
