Summary. There are 8 edaphic-climatic zones in Krasnoyarsk region. Differences in cultivation conditions require creation of new varieties that differ in vegetation periods and their reactions to numerous stress factors. The article presents the most part of selection work results obtained on wheat material on experimental fields of Krasnoyarsk Research Institute on Agriculture in 2007-2013. The precursor – fallow, seeding rate – 5 millions viable seeds per hectare, soil – leached black soil. Method of intraspecific hybridization followed by individual selection was used to create Kanskaya, Uyarochka early-ripe varieties, Krasnoyarskaya 12, Kuraginskaya 2 mid-season varieties and middle-late Svirel’ variety. They exceed standard varieties – Novosibirskaya 15, Altajskaya 70, Omskaya 32, Omskaya 33 on yield at 2,1…7,2 centner-ha and had the intolerance to leaf rust. Kanskaya and Krasnoyarskaya 12 are not affected by dust-brand and are tolerant to leaf rust. Uyarochka and Kuraginskaya 2 were highly resistant to lodging. Grain quality of new varieties, except Svirel`, meet the requirements demanded on appreciable and strong wheat varieties. Varieties are of interest not only of production, but also as a valuable breeding material.

Keywords: wheat, variety, selection, vegetation period, yield, leaf rust, dust-brand.
