Summary. The purpose of research is to develop methods of sowing winter triticale that will provide high quality seeds. Studies were carried out in 2012 and 2013 on the sod-podzolic medium loam soil. Methods of sowing (ordinary soldier, wide range and two-line banded) and seeding rates (6 and 3 million pcs-ha) were studied for two varieties of winter triticale – Izhevskaya 2 and Zimogor. Seed production of Izhevskaya 2 at crop two-line banded and seeding rate of 6 million pcs-ha was 3,06 t-ha, that exceeded other methods of sowing with the same sowing seed rate at 0,29 and 0,30 t-ha. Seed yield of variety Zimogor for the same combination of sowing methods was 2,89 t-ha, it was higher by 0,50 and 0,67 t-ha. The largest seeds of Izhevskaya 2 formed in a ordinary soldier method and seed rate of 3 million pcs-ha (mass of 1000 grain – 41,9 g), Zimogor – at the same seeding rate and wide range method (mass of 1000 grain – 43,1 g). Multiplication factor of Izhevskaya 2 for wide range sowing method and a seeding rate of 3 million pcs-ha increased in a comparison with the ordinary way of planting and seeding rate of 6 million pcs-ha from 11,7 to 25,2; Zimogor – from 9,2 to 21,6. Varieties of winter triticale Izhevskaya 2 and Zimogor for grain and seed purposes is advisable to sow two-line banded with a seeding rate of 6 million pcs-ha. In order to increase the multiplication factor in a accelerate breeding seed it is most optimal to use wide range sowing method with row spacing of 30 cm and a seeding rate of 3 million pcs-ha.
