Summary. The use of solutions of two new protective-stimulating complexes and Zircon in growing barley varieties Mikhailovsky was studied. The first protective-stimulating complex consists of guminofulvat complex. The complex is obtained by alkaline extraction of humified linen fires. The second protective-stimulating complex was Floravit® and was used together with salts of zinc and cobalt. Preplant treatment of barley complexes was carried out. Processing drugs on average in 2010-2012 affect the yield and quality of barley grain. Barley yields increased by 0,2-1,1 t/ ha compared with the control. The protein content is reduced to 0.7-1.0%. The starch content is reduced by 0,9-4,6% compared with the control. Extractable figure is stable and is 75,3-77,8%. The total protein content complies with or exceeds 12%. The zinc concentration in the grain is 20,2-26,0 mg / kg, cobalt – 0.12-0.23 mg / kg. The concentration of Zn and Co lower than the maximum allowable concentration.

Keywords: protective-stimulating complex, plant growth regulator, spring barley, chemical analysis of grain.
