Summary. Triticale has high yield and starch content. We investigated the possibility to extract starch from triticale grain using centrifugal conical sieve. It has been established that during first operation – separation of slurry with concentration of 16-28% with filtrate it was extracted 70,8-81,3% of mass share from slurry mass. It contains 12-25,5% of dry substances (DS) depending on their content in processed slurry. From 17,6 to 23,8% of mass share of slurry was gone with the sediment. The sediment was diluted by water to DS content of 10-12% and suspension of fiber is fed to first washing. At that operation 62,2-70,5% of filtrate to mass of fed to sieve suspension was formed. By the extraction of starch from fiber the fluidity deteriorates, therefore at second washing of fiber it is necessary to dilute it to DS content 6-8%. At treatment of such suspension at centrifugal sieve it was extracted 61,7-70% of mass fed to sieve suspension fiber, as at first washing. At such distribution of products at separation of slurry and washing of fiber with filtrate it was extracted 72,9-79,9% of starch from free starch containing in slurry. At first washing of fiber – 6,4-11,0%, as second washing – 0,8-2,4%, and total – 80,1-93,3%.
