Summary. Fertile and healthy soil is unique productional, environment-forming and bioresource ecosystem of the Earth's biosphere. Soil health can be considered as a part of fertility, the most important functional biological category. The study on soil health allows establishing the importance of this category at the cultural use of the soil. Morbid soils are very risky for practical use. Risks arising from the cultivation of morbid soils relate to both economic and environmental parameters of production and ethical ones. Nobody will answer for the production on the morbid soil in the long term. In Russia it is grow the importance of stability when working with soil. The speculative use of land loses its justification, it becomes punishable. Healthy soil allows producing and supplying healthy products to the countries of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The expansion of these possibilities increases responsibility and transparency of the producers (suppliers) of almost all products from different lands. The paper deals with the multifunctional role of soil in the biosphere and human life, the concept of its health, environmental, phytosanitary and sanitary criteria of monitoring of soil in agrocenosis, systemic measures to improve the soil in situ. Bioremediation should be undoubtedly attributed to such measures. Natural use of microorganisms-restorers of soil fertility is a complex process. For example, there are variants of use of soil algae and cyanobacteria for formation of soil fertility. The development of such possibility is sufficiently realizable, as they repeatedly proved their viability and soil-forming role under the different extreme conditions. Unconditionally, the multistage nature of the solution of the problem of soil health requires a global approach, realization of which is impossible without experts in soil science, microbiology, phyto-sanitation, molecular and mathematical profile.
