Abstract. It was studied the efficiency of complete granulated feed for carp, produced by “Invest Resurs” (feed No 1, Kemerovo). In the control, it was used feed, produced by “Provimi” (feed No 2, Belgorod). Density, dimensionality, hygroscopicity and solubility of feed No 1 were worse than in the control by 10–30% due to the inclusion of feather meal into its composition. The digestibility of feed was investigated on mirror carp weighing 100 g under laboratory conditions for 14 days in 2018. According to the group-analogue method, taking into account age and body weight, an experimental group (feed No 1) and a control group (feed No 2) were formed at the age of 4 months, 10 heads in each group. During the first 3 days, during acclimatization, the rate of feeding was 5% of the weight per head per day, the next 5 days – the rate was 7.5%. Then, due to water pollution, the feeding rate was reduced to 1%. The feeding coefficient of feed No 1 was 0.72, the coefficient of feed No 2 was 0.65. In the experimental group on the 14th day, 29% of fish died. Before the introduction of the feed (n = 3 from each group), there were no significant differences between the groups, the mass fraction of protein was 13.90%; after fish kill in the experimental group (n = 3) it was equal to 13.85%, in the control group (n = 3) it was equal to 13.46%. For the content of moisture and fat the values were equal to 77.02%, 80.36%, 76.83 % and 6.42%, 4.18%, 5.52 %, respectively. In 14 days, the weight of the fish was equal to 168.8 g in the control and to 160.0 g in the experimental group. After fish kill the differences between the groups and the differences with the original samples in each group were significant. Feed No 1 was poor and low nutritional. We recommend adjusting the recipe for its production and changing the technology of granulation.

Keywords: cage carp; fish feed; mass fraction of protein; mass fraction of fat.
