PROSPECTS OF MEAT PRODUCTION IN THE KURGAN REGION

Summary. Changed in connection with the participation of Russia in the WTO competitive conditions in the domestic agricultural market produce or decision to abandon unpromising areas of agriculture , or the adoption of urgent measures for radical change unfavorable economic situation . The study of historical, economic, social and other factors in the development of cattle breeding in the Kurgan region showed that the elimination of this socially important sector will lead to adverse consequences. Were predicted potentially possible parameters of its activities on the basis of self-sufficiency ratio of meat production area and volume of inter-regional exchange. Calculated promising species composition of meat production , while the normative basis for calculations made recommendations to the Ministry of Health rational norms of consumption of meat products. In general, meat market Kurgan region is characterized as a growing and potentially capacious quite favorable for future development myasoproizvodyaschih industries. Possible sales of meat products by almost 80% larger than the current production of such proposed strategic directions for the development of regional meat market as technological modernization of the industry, broadening the range of finished products, specialization and concentration of agricultural organizations on a narrow segment. However, low productivity, high costs of material and money and, consequently, loss ratio of meat production in recent years has led to a lack of investment opportunities of their own producers. Identified the need for active coordination of external actions on formation conditions for the development of livestock industry in the most desirable direction for the area, such as the creation of territorial development zones with preferential taxation, construction investment areas, promoting a favorable product sales, reimbursement of the cost of purchased equipment and the cost of updating the genetic stock.
