Summary. The paper summarizes the results of the monitoring of soil fertility Belgorod region, conducted over the last fifty years of agrochemical service. Found that over the past twenty years in the area of arable soils is quite stable weighted average organic matter content (4.8 ... 5.0%) and mobile forms of potassium (120 ... 130 mg / kg). At the same time, negative tendencies reduce the content of mobile forms of phosphorus, sulfur, zinc and manganese caused a negative balance of these elements in agriculture. There is a significant acidification of arable soils in the forest-steppe zone of the region. Over the years a proportion of acid soils increased from 22.8 to 42.0%.Contents of heavy metals in soils and artificial radionuclides is not dangerous for the production of environmentally friendly crop production. With the increase in the level of use of mineral fertilizers increased the productivity of arable land. The highest productivity of arable land (3.57 thousand feed units / hectare) was observed in 1984 ... 1989., When the level of fertilizer application was 165 kg д. в./га. Minimum productivity of arable land (2.3 thousand feed units / hectare) was recorded in 1995 ... 1999., When was the lowest level of use of fertilizer (38 kg of the active substance/ hectare).

Keywords: fertility, humus, phosphorus, potassium, trace minerals, organic matter, soil acidity.
