Summary. Testing bacterial strains of the Bacillus genus on vegetative reproduction of blackcurrant plants by woody cuttings has been conducted. The field trials were carried out in the period 2010-2012 under the condition of production nursery of agricultural cooperative «Gardens of Siberia», Novosibirsk region. Blackcurrant cultivars Ksenia and Lama were obtained by rooting of woody cutting. Bacterial strains B. subtilis ВКПМ В-10641, B. amyloliquefaciens ВКПМ В-10642, B. licheniformis ВКПМ В-10562 from culture collections of the firm «Research Center” and experimental bacterial preparation Fitop 8.67 were used for treatment – B. subtilis ВКПМ В-10641, B. amyloliquefaciens ВКПМ В-10642, B. amyloliquefaciens ВКПМ В-10643. Planted cuttings are treated by spraying the surface of the soil with bacterial suspension containing strains at a concentration of 105 CFU/ml, followed by wetting the soil with water to a depth of 10…15 cm layer. Under the influence of strains of B. amyloliquefaciens ВКПМ В-10642, or B. subtilis ВКПМ В-10641, length of annual shoots growth comparing with the control was increased by 22,9…38,7%. Under the influence of these two strains and formulation Fitop 8.67 the length of the root system was increased by (42,5-53,8) %. Biomass per plant was increased by 13…17 grams (37,8…48,7% comparing with control) under the treatment with strain B. subtilis ВКПМ В-10641 or formulation Fitop 8.67. Yield of standard seedlings suitable for realization at the end of the first growing season, under the influence of treatments with bacterial strains was increased by 44,6…58,5% using strains of B. amyloliquefaciens ВКПМ В-10642, B. subtilis ВКПМ В-10641and B. licheniformis ВКПМ В-10562. The treatment of blackcurrant plants rooting from woody cuttings with bacterial strains of the Bacillus genus stimulates the root growth, the formation of the part of seedlings above the ground, improves the plant quality and reduces the time needed to obtain standard planting material.
