Summary. In Central Сhernozem zone there has been research on the influence of selection , taking into interbreed type of fine-wool ewes interbreed “Prekos” in pure breeding and crossbreeding with thoroughbred siresmeat-woolcoarse wool breeds: “Edilbaev” and “Kazakh Kurdyuchnaya on the reproductive qualities of sows and growth rate resulting offspring. Scientific and economic experiment was conducted under conditions of KFH H.A AlikhanovaMichurinskdistrict, Tambov region, wheretwo interbreed type ewes: meat-wool and wool- meat, which were crossed with thoroughbred sires“Prekos”, “Edilbaev” and “Kazakh Kurdyuchnaya” were identified on the basis of the nature of productivity and constitutional features. As a result, the study found that the best reproductive qualities were found in ewes meat-wool type “Prekos” by crossing them with thoroughbred sires “Edilbaev” breed whose fertility was 100 % safety of lambs to weaning – 96.0 %, the yield of lambs per 100 ewes – 120%. Mutton and rams received from this option selection, had a maximum live weight at 12 months of age, which significantly exceeded the performance of live weight analogues of other variants of selection.
