INVESTIGATION OF THE FACTORS AFFECTING THE PERFORMANCE OF SEED METER INSTALLATIONS FOR MANUFACTURING SEED TAPES

Summary. One of the options for increasing the productivity of vegetable crops can serve as a way of seeding using a soluble carrier – Seed tapes. An important stage in the formation of the seed tape is seeding in tape dispenser seeds and twisting. The article presents the results of research seed dispenser, which is a sowing machine with gnezdoobrazuyuschim device. The influence of structural and regime parameters on the performance of the seed dispenser installations for the production of seed tapes. The values of the following parameters : field germination – 80-100% of the distance between the sockets on the seed tape – from 0.15 to 0.25 m , the rotational speed of the drum – between 1.0 and 1.4 rad / s, and the number of holes per drum track – from 35 to 105 pieces. The obtained dependences allow to optimize the parameters of the metering system installations for the production of seed tapes and producing the desired nesting seed placement in the film with a predetermined distance between nests and the number of seeds in the nest.
