Summary. The main aim of the research – to reveal new genetic sources and donors for creation of essentially new genotypes winter soft wheat. In 2010-2013 1142 varieties of winter soft wheat, including 402 – from All-Russian Institute of Plants and 740 – Cimmyt from the USA, Canada, Mexico, Iran, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Moldova, Ukraine. Researches are carried out in accordance with techniques of State commission on сортоиспытанию and All-Russian Institute of Plants, E.B.Mains, H.S.Jackson. In conditions of abiotic stress of strong resistance to winter hardiness was revealed on Russian varieties – Albina, Novosibirsk 32, Аl’bidum 114, Bezenchukskaya 380, the Pearl of the Volga region, Zimnitsa, Albina 45, Bezenchukskaya 790; Ukranian – Danska, K – 65058, Zarichanka, K – 65062, Rapsodija, K – 65062, Mironovskaya 808; Serbian – NS 40S/00, K – 65065, Mina, K – 65081; Chinese – ZongPin 1507, K – 65072, Zong Pin 1535, K – 65073. Strong resistance to winter hardiness among the samples CIMMYT it is not revealed. A mass fraction of fiber in a grain of Bezenchukskaya 380 was 15,6 %, Resource – 16,0 %, Yunona – 16,8 %, Praskov’ya – 17,2 %, crude gluten – 42,7, 44,4, 40,4, 37,5 % accordingly. The immunity to brown rust (type of reaction – 0, a degree of defeat – 0%) have the varieties from the USA: KS 90WGRC – 10, K – 62377, KS 92 WGRC – 22, K – 65156, KS 96 WGRC-38, K – 65157, KS 96 WGRC – 40, K – 65158, KS 96 WGRC – 34, K – 65159, Century, K – 62735, Siouxland 89, K – 62371 and Ukraine: Pamyat Remeslo, K – 65166, Yasnogirka, K – 65167. Varieties Zarichanka, K – 65062, Rapsodija, K – 65064 (Ukraine); Zong Pin 1507, K – 65072 (China); Turquoise, K – 64280 (Russia) have exceeded the standard on productivity at 37, 25, 13%.
