Summary. The aim of the article was to study the duration of the period shoots – heading and the time of the beginning of plant developmental phases of octoploid triticale lines with dominant Vrn-A1, Vrn-B1, Vrn-D1 and Vrn-D4 genes, transferred from NILs of common wheat Triple Dirk, of two spontaneous facultative mutants, arisen in the populations of winter hexaploid triticale cultivars Sears 57 and Cecad 90, as well as of two spring hexaploid triticale cultivars Ukro and Sandro, whose Vrn genotypes are not known yet. It is shown that dominant Vrn genes influenced on the period from shoots to heading of octoploid triticale lines the same way as of the NILs and substitution lines of wheat. According to expression they can be ranged as Vrn-A1 ≥ Vrn-D1 ≥ Vrn-D4 ≥ Vrn-B1. In the same row these genes can be ranged according to the degree of shortening of the interphase period “tillering – stem elongation”, which confirms the data about the influence of dominant Vrn genes on the length of the “tillering” phase in wheat. In the lines of octoploid triticale with dominant Vrn-A1 and Vrn-D1 genes the lengthening day resulted in the increase of the length of their interphase period “tillering – stem elongation” in the second term of sowing, to 11 and 21 days respectively. The time of the developmental phases onset in two spontaneous spring mutants of winter cultivars Sears 57 and Cecad 90 was close to that of the triticale line with dominant Vrn-B1 gene, and the time of the developmental phases beginning of the spring hexaploid triticale cultivar Sandro was close to that of the triticale line with dominant Vrn-D4 gene. A spring triticale cultivar Ukro was the most early-ripening among the studied plants.
