INFLUENCE OF SILVER NANOCOMPOSITE ON PIGLETS PRODUCTIVITY, COMPOSITION AND ACTIVITY OF THEIR GUT ORGANISMS

Summary. Nanotechnological direction in pharmacology reveals new properties of conventional drugs, which makes it possible not only to reduce the therapeutic doses, but also to find new areas of application. This approach, in particular, in addition to known properties, such as antiseptic and amyctic, reveals general therapeutic effect of silver compounds. The application efficiency of one of the nanosilver drugs, argovit (the compound of nanosilver with polyvinylpyrrolidone), as a therapeutic agent and characteristics of his actions on the intestinal microflora of piglets was studied. Investigations were carried out in "Chistogorsky", OOO APC in Kemerovo region; 120 piglets of large white breed, divided in 4 groups in equal number: one control and three experimental groups. In experimental groups in animal diets it was add the preparation argovit in doses of 100, 200 and 400 mcg/kg of feed. Feeding by argovit in the maximal dose promoted the intensification of growth processes of suckling piglets and weaners by 19.5% in comparison to the control, the reduction of morbidity and mortality. Introduction of argovit in the diet in all studied doses followed by increase in colony forming units (CFU) of enterobacteria up to 6 orders, simultaneously the number of CFU of coccal forms reduced up to 2 times and bifidobacteria – ten times. The change in the number of lactic acid bacteria had differently directed nature: in the animals, obtained 100 and 200 mcg/kg it raised, 400 mcg/kg – decreased. Increase in the level of biochemical activity of bowel microbiota in multisubstrate test (MCT) was observed in comparison with the control in doses of preparation of 100 and 400 mg/kg of feed. Application of argovit in a dose of 400 mcg significantly increased average daily gain of piglets at 60 g. Thus, the nanocomposite of silver stimulates growth and productivity of animals, optimizes the composition and activity of the intestinal microflora.
