Summary. Stimulation of the productivity of broiler chickens makes it possible to intensify meat poultry without significant material costs. Various mechanisms of pharmacological action of the most common drugs cause primarily growth intensification of broiler chickens and decrease in mortality by correction of the intestinal microorganisms and improvement of the absorption of the nutrients from fodder. A fundamentally new approach based on the stimulation of chicken development in the first days of life, was proposed in the concept of «Anti-stress growth stimulating complex», to determine the anabolic activity of which the efficiency of an experimental batch of the drug SM ComplexBroiler was evaluated. The preparation was fed for chickens since the first day of life with water for 5 days by standard way through the system medicators. Birds from the first group did not receive the preparation and served as the control. Chickens from the second, third and fourth groups received 300 mg of the preparation with a content of 10, 15 and 20% of a pharmacologically active complex, respectively. The least mortality of chickens was observed in the fourth test group. Compared with the control, in this group it was less by 2.3 %, in the third group – by 2 %, in the second group – by 1.8 %. Slaughter weight of chickens from the experimental groups exceeded the value of this indicator in the control: in the second group – by 29 g (1.4 %), the third group – by 96 g (4.5 %), in the fourth group – by 146 g (6.6 %). The highest European index of broiler productivity was in the fourth group (264.9), the least – in the first group (243.7). Moreover, there is a clear relationship between the applied dose and the value of this indicator. Economic efficiency of the use of the drug SM ComplexBroiler for 5 days was 39.9…58.0 rub.
