Summary. The purpose of the investigation was to develop and substantiate the construction of the suspension of plowshare support of the stubble cultivator-seeder, ensuring uniform seed placement in depth. The construction of a parallelogram suspension with elastic member in the form of two coil springs was proposed. According to the results of force examining, which acted on the suspension, and depending on the resisting force of soil, it was established that under the load, which exceeded calculated one, the plowshare with the parallelogram suspension due to the hinges moved along a parabola back and upward. In this case its chisel moved plane-parallel relatively the soil surface in certain limits. The direction of the displacement of plowshare coincides with the displacement of the spring in the horizontal and vertical plane. The degree of the sensitivity of the suspension mechanism to emerging efforts and the deflection of chisel plow point depends on the elasticity of the spring. The carried out dynamic analysis of the forces acting on the suspension elements, made it possible to determine the correlation between the acting efforts, design factors of suspension and the deflection of plowshare in the horizontal and vertical planes. With the maximum force applicable to the proposed plowshare P = 600 H its deflection in the vertical plane is not more than 0.01 m, which corresponds to the agricultural requirements. The calculated deviation of the plowshare with a standard radial suspension with P = 600 H is 0.023 m, which considerably exceeds the allowable one and can lead to a breakdown of the support. The developed construction makes it possible for plowshare to copy the relief of the field, with tripping-over of the plowshare on the dense area of the soil with resistance, exceeding the calculated one; which improves the uniformity of depth of seeding and protects the support from the breakdown.
