Summary. Various nutrient media, including liquid ones, are used for plating of biological material at bacteriological diagnosis of tuberculosis. The tests on usage of ozonized saline with different concentration of ozone for cultivation of mycobacteria M. bovis strain 14 and vaccine strain of BCG in liquid nutrient media (Shkolnikova, Soton, VKL) for stimulation of growth of mycobacteria were carried out. The suspension for plating was prepared at a dilution of 1:10E-5 in 1 ml of ozonized saline with different concentrations of ozone. There were tested four ozone concentrations (0.1; 0.25; 0.5; 1.0 mg/l). Ozonized saline solutions with ozone concentration 0.25 and 0.5 mg /l have stimulating effect; they accelerate and increase the rate of growth of mycobacteria, augment the accumulation of bacterial mass. In test tubes we registered the growth of culture M. bovis strain 14 in liquid nutrient media with ozone concentration 0.25 and 0.5 mg/l on 5…7 day as moderately developed film with a smooth surface and ivory color. In the control we visually noted the presence of visible film on 7…10 days. The examination of growth of lyophilized culture of BCG strain in liquid VKL and Soton nutrient media with ozonized solution with ozone concentration 0.25 mg/l revealed that on both medium the beginning of growth was observed after the second passage on 14 day as soft separate colonies on the surface of the media. Colonies were dry, ivory color. The abundant accumulation of bacterial mass at the Soton’s medium was noted on 30 day. The influence of ozone at concentrations 0.25 and 0.5 mg/l on the rate and intensity of growth of mycobacterium cultures (M. bovis strain 14) consisted in the reduction of time for culture growth appearance by 1.6 times. Ozonized saline at concentration 0.25 mg/l contributes to intensification of growth and accumulation of bacterial mass of vaccine strain of BCG during cultivation on liquid Soton and VKL nutrient media by 1.2 times.
