Summary. The purpose of the research was to develop a method for normalization of the respiratory function of blood of piglets, which could increase the resistance of organisms, the preservation and growth of animals. In the experiment it was studied the expediency of using of potassium succinate at the dose of 0.125 g/kg of body weight per a day, riboflavin–2.5 mg/head and Vikasol–0.3 g/head per a day, separately and in combination at the same doses. All preparations were added to mixed feed as an additive to the basic diet. This work was carried out on physiologically immature pigs after weaning in the sector «Pig-Balian.» In piglets with the state of post-natal immaturity at the age of 26 days the indicators of respiratory function were significantly lower than that of physiologically mature animals. Hematocrit value was 83.5%, the number of red blood cells–66.2, hemoglobin content in the blood–61.1, hemoglobin content per an erythrocyte (CHE)–76.2, the color index (CI)–72 6, the degree of oxygenation–77.8, the oxygen capacity–60.0, the content of oxygen in blood–47.5%. All values were calculated regarding to control ones. The best results were provided by feeding of the combination of all pharmacological agents. On the 21st day the hematocrit value in this group was 94.8% in comparison with the same index of mature animals, the number of red blood cells–95.2, hemoglobin content–97.6, CHE–96.8, CI–93.9, the oxygenation degree of blood–96.7, oxygen capacity– 97.6, oxygen content in blood–94.4%. In the group of pigs, grown without the use of drugs, the indicators of respiratory function of the blood were significantly lower. As a result of its normalization in piglets of the test group the live weight increased by 42.8%, the preservation–from 39.7 to 93.0%, all preserved animals left the state of post-natal immaturity.
