Summary. Preparation Brokarsept of 10% concentration is light-yellow suspension of viscous consistency, which forms polymeric film during shaking. In different concentrations (0.05-0.2%) it possesses strong bactericidal activity against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms and sustained bactericidal effect during incubation period of eggs. Brokarsept was given to broilers at 0.5 liters per 1000 liters of drinking water in 3-4 hours after hatching and during the first 5 days, then at the age of 18-22 days and for the third time–at 29-32 days. During the tests we registered mortality, body weight before broilers fattening and after it, average daily weight gain, feed consumption compared with the control. Bactericidal activity against different microorganisms was determined in the farms of Stavropol Krai with the use of paper disks. The hatchability of young poultry in the experimental groups of eggs was higher by 3.0-3.4% than in the control due to the lack of microbial contamination of eggs during incubation and reduction of embryos mortality. The application of Brokarsept as growth stimulating additive increases body weight of broilers in the experimental poultry yards, compared to the control, from 12.7 to 162.3 g, and the average weight gain–from 1.2 to 4.2 g. Mortality of chickens decreases by 0.9 -3.1%. Feed conversion rate of experimental broilers is lower than in the control by 0.5-0.13 fodder units per a bird.
