Summary. The main aim of our work was to conduct comparative tests and determine the effectiveness of aerosol air remediation by biocidal preparation Biopag D during preventive disinfection of premises in the presence of animals, as well as to study the effect of this method on animals’ organisms. The studies were conducted in the premises during the period of stabling of sheep under conditions of educational- experimental station of Stavropol State Agrarian University (pos. Demino, Shpakovsky district) and experimental station of All-Russian Research Institute of Sheep and Goat Breeding (pos. Tsimlyansky, Shpakovsky district), located on the territory of Stavropol Krai. In an isolated premise, where further test animals were kept, a mechanical cleaning was made seven days before the start of lambing. Walls and ceiling were treated by chloride lime, windows were closed hermetically. The object of the study was the young sheep North Caucasian meat and wool breed at the age from birth to 4 months. During lambing period two groups of lambs were formed: control group and test group. Animals from the control group were kept in a room where sanitation was not carried out. In the room with the experimental group aerosol disinfections by the biocidal preparation Biopag D were carried out every 30 days. We evaluated the growth and development of young animals in different periods of postembryogenesis. In the experimental rooms the concentration of microorganisms was considerably less, by 57%, than in the control ones. Additional aerosol disinfection contributes to the reduction of bacterial contamination in the air space, which inhibits the development of opportunistic microflora, as well as prevents the transfer of microorganisms by aerogenic manner.

Keywords: biocidal preparation, sheep, aerosol sanitation of air, disinfection.
