Summary. It was examined the questions of adaptive capacity of broiler chickens of the Hubbard F 15 cross in four experimental groups, n=10, the age of birds in groups is P1, P7, P23, P42 (days of postnatal ontogenesis) under conditions of industrial production (OOO “Chebarkulskaya Ptitsa”) in 2010-2014. A method is proposed to assess adaptive resources of organisms of broiler chickens on the basis of the calculation and interpretation of lipoprotein index (LPI) and phospholipid index (PI) in determining the rate of shunt metabolic processes and functional assistance of proteins and lipids in the relationship with an increase in body weight and viability in the technological environment. The results of calculation of lipoprotein index showed that at the body weight of poultry within 35.0-65.0 g (P1 and P7 age) the value of the index is 5.73-12.54 (P < 0.001). In the process of weight raise to 671.0-1834.0 g (P23 and P42 age) the value of LPI increases to 39.61-49.65 (P < 0.001). If the value of phospholipids index is 5.73-4.44, the safety of chickens is 99.2-98.7% (P1 and P7). The decrease in PI to 2.92-3.13 (P < 0.01) was accompanied by a reduction of safety to 96.0-96.1% in the age of P23 and P42. The calculation of lipoprotein and phospholipid indices allows characterizing of the physiological state of poultry during growth and producing timely adjustment of parameters of applied technologies of feeding and housing. Application of these indices is possible in breeding for the selection of birds with a high level of metabolism and, respectively, accelerated growth of body weight and high viability. Lipoprotein and phospholipid indices, taking into account physiological relationship of protein and lipid metabolites in functional metabolic systems that maintain homeostasis, enable to estimate the adaptive resources of organisms of broiler chickens under conditions of technological environment.
