Summary. Under conditions of Azov zone of Rostov region on the fields of Don Zonal Research Institute of Agriculture the investigations were carried out in 2011-2015. The aim of the research was to determine the parameters of ecological stability, flexibility and productivity of 40 grain pea varieties, as well as to reveal correlation dependencies between these indicators. The preceding crop was winter wheat. Laying of the experiments, observations and calculations were carried out according to the procedure of state variety test, the crop was taken by the “Sampo130” combine. The productivity of varieties was determined by weighing of grain from every plot with the obligatory recalculation on standard humidity. Calculating of the parameters of ecological plasticity was performed by the method of S.A. Eberhart and W.A. Russell. The highest flexibility was at varieties Aksajsky Usaty 5, Fokor, Agrointel, Aliyans, Ataman, Audit, Orlus and Yamal (bi > 1.15). Varieties Aliyans, Talovets 70, Aksajsky Usaty 10, Spartak, Argon, Aksajsky Usaty 55 were the most stable (s2d < 1). Varieties Kadet, Aliyans, Faraon, Stabil, Temp, Ataman, Fokor and Spartak formed the best average productivity over 5 years of investigation. Rather weak correlations were revealed between the coefficient of plasticity, variance of stability and crop yield. It is established, that leafless varieties are generally more flexible and stable (bi = 1.02; s2d = 3.30) than leafy ones (bi = 0.93; s2d = 6.36), as well as varieties with shed grain (bi = 1.04; s2d = 3.06) have better parameters of ecological plasticity than non-shed grain ones (bi = 0.96; s2d = 5.14). However, within each morphotype it is observed a certain scale of variation of these indicators.

Keywords: peas, variety, flexibility, stability, productivity.
