Summary. The purpose of the research was to develop promising directions of development of breeding, seed production, forage production, agriculture and plant protection on the basis of development of new varieties of crops, working out of agriculture and plant protection systems, ecologically sustainable highly productive agrophytocenosis and resource-saving technologies of cultivation. In research institutions, located in different soil-climatic zones of Western and Eastern Siberia, it was determined the interaction of agroclimatic conditions of natural zones, the biology features of crops and varieties, factors of intensification and studied techniques. It was examined the main results of work on breeding of crops and elaboration of variety technologies of forage crop cultivation in the seed-growing system. It is described the main technological methods of crop cultivation in raw conveyors, the results of using non-traditional forage crops. The attention is focused on the application of biologization factors for crop rotations, the use of phyto-ameliorants for complex alkaline soils, culture selection and use of intensification factors in conservation agriculture of Transbaikal. For meadow cultivation it is recommended cultures and techniques, which allows improving of the composition and prolonging longevity of phytocenosis, as well as reducing power expenditures; the results of studying of progressive successions on natural forage lands are presented. The cultures are recommended for growing in simple and complex annual and perennial mixtures for production of all kinds of high-quality feeds for conditions of Western Siberia. Based on the analysis of production and economic performance of feed production and animal husbandry of farms in different soil-climatic zones of Novosibirsk region the criteria for the economic evaluation of efficiency of forage production were developed.
