GEO-INFORMATION MODELING IN THE STUDY OF TRANSFORMATION AND USE OF AGRICULTURAL LANDS

Summary. The article presents investigation results on usage of GIS-technologies in evaluation of agricultural lands for the automated design of adaptive landscape agricultural systems. It is examined the technologies for automated land evaluation on farms for purposes of state cadastre and creation of automated workplace of land surveyor. It is presented the variant for the solution of problem of the impartial evaluation of land productivity by means of formalization of calculations of the quantitative parameters of crop productivity. It provides for the creation of an expert system, the work of which is based on the taking into account and correlation of agrobiological requirements of crops and conditions of their growing. It is examined problems of decoding of satellite imageries by the algorithm of automated working of geo-images ISODATA and the algorithm, which realizes the “object-oriented approach” with the help of the program complex ENVI. The use of it allows taking into account not only spectral characteristics of objects, but also their textural properties, which gives the possibility to establish the boundaries of objects more reliably and to obtain vector maps immediately. It is addressed the issues of analysis of heterogeneity of soil cover and methods of obtaining the characteristics of separate elementary soil areas. The proposed method of geo-information cartography consists in creation of a digital model of land tenure, cartography of an elementary soil area with the use of the method of relief plastic, geometric and qualitative analysis, design of a map and a legend to it. It is demonstrated the possibilities of applying the methods of fuzzy logic, in particular connectionist analysis, for classification of agricultural lands. The materials are given on the inventory of the peat pool of swampy lands, on evaluation of the current state of peat fields and their resource potential. The tasks of geo-information modeling of the effective use of lands within the framework of the integrated project are formulated.
