Summary. Studies were carried out to examine the effect of ameliorants, mineral and organic fertilizers on soil fertility. The service area of FGBU SAS “Tarskaya” is remarkable for considerable variety of soil types, from podzol ones to chernozems. In the north zone of Omsk region 421,900 hectares of arable lands have the acid reaction of soil solution, and 59,200 hectares require liming above all (pH is less 4.5). Weighted mean index of acidity of arable lands is 5.4 (low acid reaction). The article presents data on the efficiency of use of phosphorite meal and liming of acid soils in the service area of the station. The maximal values of application of organic and mineral fertilizers in the north zone of Omsk region were reached in 1986-1990, they were 3.8 t/ha and 49.7 kg/ha (a.s.), respectively. In these years it was also registered the maximum average values of content of mobile phosphorus and exchange potassium (93.6 and 105.2 mg/kg, respectively), as well as a positive balance of nutrients (+15.2 kg/ha). Since 1991 due to the abrupt decrease in the use of means of production intensification in the zone, the negative balance of humus (from -0.39 to -0.60 t/ha over the last 5 years) and nutrients (minus 74.8 kg/ha in 2010-2015) formed. Weighted average content of mobile phosphorus and exchangeable potassium began to decrease and reached 81.2 and 99.9 mg/kg respectively to 2015.
