Summary. The purpose of the researches was to determine the current state of soil cover of agricultural lands in Khabarovsk Krai, to assess the actual level of soil fertility and to register its dynamics. According to data of the 12th cycle of agrochemical inspection of agricultural lands in Khabarovsk Krai the fraction of soils with low humus content is 30% (21,400 hectares), the portion of lands with the low content of phosphorus and potassium is 63% (45,000 hectares) and 31% (23,500 hectares), respectively. The area of the arable soils which are characterized by acid reaction of the solution (рН(KCl) is less 5.0) is 28,200 hectares. According to the results of monitoring during the period from 2005 to 2015 the increase in a share of arable soils with the low content of organic matter was 13.6%. The most favorable conditions for humus accumulation are created in crop rotations with large input of plant residues and their lesser mineralization: 3-field crop rotation with 33% of soybean and 2-field one with 50% of soybean. The balance of humus in these cases become positive: 0.27 and 0.21 t/ha, respectively. We studied the influence of different doses of fertilizers on productivity of released varieties of wheat Khabarovchanka, oats Premier, soybean Marinata, Ivan Karamanov and Batya under conditions of the Middle Amur region on meadow-brown heavy loamy soil. The greatest increase in the yield of wheat (1.05 t/ha) was provided by application of N16P16K16, oats (1.45 t/ha) – N32P32K32, soybean (1.04-1.64 t/ha) – N64P64K64.
