Summary. The investigation was carried out in order to select valuable forms of clonal pear stocks for further use in production. The study was carried out at the garden of the Siberian Research Institute of Agriculture, located in the south steppe of Omsk region, in 2014-2016. The soil of the test plot was meadow-chernozem, medium loamy; the reaction of soil solution in the arable layer was close to neutral. Clonal stocks of pear PG 2, PG 12, PG 17-16 were the objects of the research. Rooting of green and wood cuttings was carried out in a greenhouse with film cover and artificial fogging. The substrate was the mixture of sand and peat (1: 1). The planting system for cuttings was 5 x 5 cm. The replication was fourfold; there were 25 cuttings in each replication. Kornevin (powdering of cuts) was used as the regulator of root formation for green cuttings; for wood cuttings heteroauxin and kornevin were used (soaking in the solution during 16 hours). The samples of cloned pear stocks wintered without injuries. We did not observe the losses of plants in the nursery. The vegetation began on April 29-30, 2014; May 1-2, 2015; April 20, 2016. The formation of callus was observed in 10-12 days after planting, the mass formation of roots – in 3-4 weeks. The mass rotting of cuttings was not observed during the investigation; the most of the nonrooted cuttings were with callus. Rooting ability of PG 2 stock varied from 54 to 57 %, PG 12 – 61-64 %, PG 17-16 – 45-50 %. The average growth of cuttings of root stocks was 7.1, 4.2 and 5.8 cm. Pear stocks are characterized by medium and high rooting ability of green cuttings (47-62 %). At the propagation by woody cuttings rooting ability of PG 12 stock was 42.7-54.0 %. Rooted stock cuttings require growing.
