EFFICIENCY OF HYDROGEL FOR THE FOURTH YEAR AFTER INTRODUCTION UNDER CONDITIONS OF THE CENTRAL PRE-CAUCASUS

Abstract. The aim of the study was to determine the efficiency of hydrogel under conditions of the Central Pre-Caucasus. A three-factor experiment was carried out on ordinary chernozem, medium thick, medium loamy, with low humus content. In the experiment we studied four doses of hydrogel (100, 200, 300 and 400 kg/ha) against the background of two variants of treatments (conventional moldboard plowing at 20-22 cm and shallow processing at 10-12 cm) without fertilizers and with an annual application of N60P60K60. The polymer was applied once under the tillage in 2012, with the study of the effectiveness of its aftereffect in the crop rotation link: winter wheat after semifallow land, oil radish (green manure), winter wheat. In the experiment there were two controls: moldboard plowing at 20-22 cm without hydrogel and fertilizers, and with the introduction of N60P60K60. The positive role of the hydrogel in the improvement of the water supply of winter wheat after semifallow was determined, especially of the highest in the test dose of 400 kg/ha, for the fourth year after its introduction. Depending on the method of processing, fertilizer dose and stage of organogenesis of plants, the growth of reserves of productive moisture in a one-meter layer of soil in this variant was 20.3-43.5 mm, or 16.2-58.9 %. At the application of 400 kg/ha of the polymer, a reduction in the coefficient of water consumption of winter wheat after semifallow was 148.7-517.9 m3/t, or 21.6-37.4 %, compared to the control, depending on the treatments and fertilizer doses, and the value of additional products ranged from 610 to 1270 kg/ha, or 21.6-33.2 %. Thus, in the fourth year after the application, the highest efficiency was noted in the variant with hydrogel in the dose of 400 kg/ha.
