Abstract. The investigation was carried out in order to increase the productivity of Camelina sativa under conditions of North Kazakhstan. The experimental work was carried out in 2015 and 2016 on the experimental field of the Kostanai Research Institute of Agriculture (the Republic of Kazakhstan). The research program included a three-factor experiment for the study of the influence of forecrops (factor A), seeding methods (factor B) and pre-harvest desiccation (factor C). The forecrops were herbicide fallow and wheat stubble, the seeding methods were the space between rows of 23 cm and 27 cm, and factor C was with and without desiccation. The sowing was carried out by SZS-2.1 seeders, equipped with anchoring shovels. We seeded high-quality seeds of Camelina sativa, Isilkulets variety, in the third decade of May with the seeding rate of 5.0–5.5 million of germinating seeds per hectare. In the variants with the use of preparations accelerating the ripening of plants, the desiccation by Uragan Forte was performed 10 days prior to harvesting (the rate of consumption was 2.0 l/ha). The highest yield was recorded when sowing Camelina sativa after the herbicide fallow with the row spacing of 23 cm and the application of pre-harvest desiccation; it was 1.28 t/ha. During the years of the research, the average yield increase was 170 kg/ha (LSD05 = 48) when sowing Camelina sativa after herbicide fallow, 120 kg/ha (LSD05 = 24) for the row spacing of 23 cm, 150 kg/ha (LSD05 = 34) for the application of pre-harvesting desiccation. The output of oil with the optimal combination of the studied elements of the technology was 520 kg/ha, which exceeded the other variants by 80–180 kg/ha.
