EVALUATION OF THE EFFICIENCY OF ALEYCID, WP BIOPREPARATION PS AGAINST HARMFUL ORGANISMS ON POTATO

Abstract. The aim of the investigation was to determine the biological efficiency of Aleycid, WP biopreparation against wireworms of the genus Agriotes spp. (Coleoptera: Elateridae) and potato scab Streptomyces scabies Waks. & Henr. on potato Solanum tuberosum L. The research was carried out in 2013 and 2017 under conditions of the Northwest region of Russia on the sod-podzolic loamy soil. The application of Aleycid, WP (20 mg/L of water) for the treatment of soil (800 L/ha) and tubers (10 L/t) inhibited the development of potato scab by 97.1–98.9 %; the extension of the disease reduced by 96.3–97.1 %. The application of the preparation against wireworms provided the decrease in tuber injury by 91.0–95.8 %. One important feature of Aleycid, WP is its positive influence on yield quantity and tuber quality. The treatment with actinomycete metabolites increased the yield by 29.8–30.2 %, starch content – by 5.5–5.7 %, vitamin C content – by 9.7–9.9 %; nitrate content decreased by 57.8–58.1 %. The application of Aleycid, WP and the minimum doses of complex nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium (NPK) fertilizers (Aleycid, WP + N30P30K45 and Aleycid, WP + N45P45K60) promoted an increase in the yield of potato tubers by 41.3 and 51.3 %. The maximum yield of tubers – 1566.6–1571.5 g/plant (in the control it was 978.5 g/plant) was obtained against the backgrounds of Aleycid, WP + N60P60K90 and Aleycid, WP + N90P90K120. Application of Aleycid, WP against the background of mineral fertilizers (Aleycid, WP + N60P60K90 and Aleycid, WP + N90P90K120) increased the starch content by 2.50–2.65 %, vitamin C content – by 2.9–3.4 %; nitrate amount reduced by 32.7–40.1 %.
