Abstract. The study was carried out in order to analyze the state and dynamics of changes of the main agrochemical indicators of fertility of agricultural soils in Jewish Autonomous Region. According to the latest cycle of agrochemical survey of agricultural lands of Jewish Autonomous Region, the content of organic matter (humus) in the examined soils of the region was 3.4%, which corresponds to a low content. Soils of farmland with a low content of humus occupy 76.4% or 112,000 hectares. The share of lands with a low content of phosphorus and potassium is 70.8% (104,000 ha) and 21.7% (31,900 ha), respectively. The weighted average content of phosphorus in the region is 50.6 mg/kg, of potassium – 150.6 mg/kg. Acidic soils (pH 4.0–5.5) occupy 82.2%, or 120,700 hectares. The average soil acidity (pH) of arable land as of 2016 was 4.2. In general, the soils of agricultural areas of the region can be characterized as acidic, with an average supply of mobile phosphates and a low content of organic matter. The content of mobile potassium is high.
