Abstract. The article presents the results of evaluation of a feeding value of five varieties of winter triticale (Nemchinovsky 56, Kornet, Bashkirskaya Korotkostebelnaya, Beta, Svetlitsa) under conditions of the Republic of Tatarstan for six years, different in a hydrothermal regime (2011–2016). A characteristic of a chemical composition of the feed is needed to determine the nutritional value of the feed, both in oat feed units and in energy feed units. The content of dry matter and ash showed no significant differences between varieties, whereas the content of crude protein, cellulose, fat, sugar, calcium and phosphorus differed significantly in the studied genotypes. The influence of the conditions of a year and of the interaction between a genotype and environment was noted for all the tested parameters, with the exception of dry matter content. The accumulation of crude protein (15.52%) in the grain of Svetlitsa variety was higher then that of the other varieties by 0.68–1.66%, and differences with all genotypes, except Beta, were reliable. Despite the significant varietal differences in the biochemical composition, the energy value varied slightly: from 13.8 MJ in Kornet variety to 13.88 MJ in Svetlitsa variety. The content of exchange energy in the studied triticale varieties corresponds to the first class of GOST of this crop for fodder purposes for cattle and sheep and to the second class for pigs and poultry. The leading factors of the variation of the studied parameters of nutrient content and energy value of triticale, named “utilization and availability”, “feed nutrition”, “phosphorus supply”, are identified. It is necessary to pay attention to varieties Svetlitsa and Beta, the improvement of which on a number of signs could be successful.
