For the animals of Simmental breed (1621 head), the sickness rates were 9.7–18.0%, 7.0–12.5%, 3.7–6.7%, and 2.0–3.7%, respectively. The average morbidity was 8.2%. Animals of local breed (821 head) were less prone to postpartum diseases. The average incidence among them was 4.0%. Metritis was diagnosed for 4.6–9.2% of cows, mastitis – 3.3–7.6%, retained placenta – 1.3–2.4%, parturient paresis – 0.4–1.8%.
