PRESCRIBED COMPOSITION AND DETERMINATION OF REGULATED INDICATORS OF PHYTOCOMPLEX QUALITY WITH DIRECTED FUNCTIONAL PROPERTIES

Abstract. Unmodified state of raw materials and their reactant were characterized, which allowed to substantiate the qualitative composition of a formula of a new specialized product in the form of a biologically active additive with directed functional properties. One capsule of the additive weighing 0.6 g contains not less than 1.5 mg of hydroxy-cinnamic acids (caftaric, chlorogenic, chicoric), 60 mg of vitamin C, 30 mg of rutin, not less than 2 mg of glycyrrhizinic acid, 2.5 mg of zinc, 0.0065 mg of selenium. The additive is produced using the technology of layer-by-layer application of the components of the formulation, which allows to regulate the sequence and speed of release of biologically active substances, as well as to ensure better preservation of the reactants. Synergistic functions of prescribed components allowed to determine the functional orientation of the phytocomplex, which consists in increasing the activity of the immune system. The detection of sanitary indicator microorganisms in the produced product indicates the possibility of its contamination. The values of the analyzed indicators corresponded to the permissible norm during the whole period of storage. Pathogenic bacteria, Escherichia coli, salmonella, coliform bacteria were not detected. Heptachlor and aldrin were not detected, hexachlorane (the sum of isomers), dichlor diphenyl trichlormethylmethane and its metabolites were detected in an amount of less than 0.005 mg/kg throughout the storage period, which corresponds to the allowable level of content. Clinical trials of the efficacy and functional properties of the developed product were carried out on the basis of the Department of Hospital Pediatrics of the Siberian State Medical University (Tomsk). The additive was included it in the diet of children suffering from acute respiratory diseases, bronchitis and pneumonia. The trials demonstrated the expediency of using the phytocomplex in the complex therapy of such patients and as the preventive agent in weakened children.
