Abstract. The investigations were carried out in 1997–2015 under conditions of an agro-landscape stationary test, founded in 1996 on gray forest soils of the Vladimir Opolie region. The aim of the research was an agroeconomic assessment of the efficiency of crop rotations for adaptive landscape farming systems. We studied productivity and economic efficiency of five six-field crop rotations. The first crop rotation (bare fallow, winter wheat, oats + perennial grasses, perennial grasses of the first year of use, perennial grasses of the second year of use, barley) produced the greatest cereal yield and needed the minimal costs in the test. The productivity of 1 ha of crop rotation area in this variant was 2490 grain units with the yield of cereals of 3.77 t/ha. In this crop rotation fertilizers were applied in the amount of 40 t/ha of manure and 240 kg of active substances of mineral fertilizers during one rotation. The recoupment of 1 kg of mineral fertilizers was 51.9 kg of grain units. Variable costs amounted to 7467 RUB/ha, conditionally net income was 6604 RUB/ha, the payback was 1.80 RUB/RUB. The highest economic efficiency with high productivity was obtained in the 5th crop rotation: clover fallow, winter wheat, leguminous, spring wheat, potato, barley + clover. The productivity in this variant was 3380 grain units, the yield of grain crops was 3.33 t/ha. In this crop rotation, the total dose of manure was 80 t/ha, of mineral fertilizers – 1055 kg/ha of active substances over one rotation. The payback of 1 kg of mineral fertilizers was 19.2 kg of grain units, variable costs were 26,737 RUB/ha, conditionally net income was 37,371 RUB/ha, the payback was 2.40 RUB/RUB.
