Abstract. The paper presents the results of the production and economic evaluation of crops cultivation technologies with the use of different fertilizer systems and at different levels of production intensification. The main source of information was the results of the experimental investigations, carried out by the Department of Agrochemistry and Ecology of the Vladimir Research Agricultural Institute in three rotations of a field crop rotation. On grey forest soils there was a trend of reduction of the economic efficiency of crop production technologies with increasing doses of mineral and organic fertilizers. The only exception was potato, in the cultivation of which the cost recovery by revenues from products steadily increased with increasing doses of fertilizers per unit area. Now, under the conditions of the Vladimir Opolie region, the normal level of agricultural technologies in the production of grain crops is the most rational, for potato it is better to use intensive level. In order to cost recovery will not reduce at the intensive level of production, compared with the extensive one, the yield of cereals should be higher by 30–68%, than the real yield in the test. Fertilizer systems with mineral nitrogen contributed to the formation of grain with a higher content of crude protein. The fertilizer system with the highest yield of crude protein per hectare, was on the 6th place in the ranked row when it was assessed, considering the cost recovery. In the current situation under the conditions of the Vladimir Opolie region, the development of intensive technologies in plant production is impossible without further development of the system of state support for agricultural producers, the creation of processing facilities, and the expansion of the public procurement system.
Keywords: production and ecological-economic efficiency; contradictions; priorities; adaptive-landscape system of agriculture; fertilizer system; agricultural technologies management; level of intensification.
