Abstract. The purpose of the study was to assess the joint occurrence of agents of Alternaria and Fusarium on potato, as well as the biological and economic efficacy of some biological and chemical preparations against them. The pathocomplex of Fusarium with Alternaria alternata was revealed on potato in Russian State Agrarian University in 2012–2017. In 2014 the number of conidia of Fusarium reached 500 pcs/mm2, for A. alternata it was 5 pcs/mm2 of lesion area. In June, the hydrothermal coefficient was 1.7, in July it crucially dropped to 0.1. The same problem was in Suzdal. In 2013–2014 on potato ‘Nevsky’, it was studied the influence of treatment of seed tubers and plants with rhizobacterium Klebsiella planticola, with fertilizers Ecofus, Silipant, with fungicides Maxim, Tanos, Score, and their tank mixtures on the manifestation of early blight and potato productivity. The fungicides were used in the recommended and half doses in the phases of closing to rows, budding and flowering. The plot area was 84 m2 in 2013 and 94 m2 in 2014, the replication was four-fold. We defined indicators of the pathogen development, compared them with the control (without spraying). K. planticola, as immunizer, suppressed early blight development by 31–34%, providing the harvest increase by 2.3 t/ha (10.1%). The treatment with the mixture of K. planticola with Maxim and Score in half doses decreased early blight development at 50%, with Ecofus – at 76%. The separate treatment with Maxim, Tanos, Score and K. planticola at full doses decrease the disease development by 0–34%. Treatments with K. planticola and Ecofus provoked the formation of A. alternata conidia and manifestation of its aggressiveness 2 times; their mixture in half doses decreased these parameters 3 times. For a mixture of K. planticola and Score, it was revealed a similar depressive effect. These effects were associated with different effects of the preparations on potato and A. alternata and the effect of Fusarium.
