Abstract. The investigation was carried out in the Research Agricultural Institute of the Northern Trans-Urals in 2015–2017 in order to assess the influence of weather factors on the yield of Origanum vulgare and Hyssopus officinalis. The experiment was founded in 2013 by a seedling method after a fallow field. The plot area was 12 m2, the planting pattern was 60 x 30 cm; there was a single replication. Over the years of the research, the sum of active temperatures was higher than the long-term annual average temperature by 87 Celsius degrees in 2015, by 319 Celsius degrees in 2016, by 56 Celsius degrees in 2017 (with the long-term annual average temperature of 1844 Celsius degrees). According to the amount of precipitation, 2015 was wet, 2016 was arid, 2017 was wet. Twenty-five collection genotypes of H. officinalis and 14 genotypes of O. vulgare were evaluated. The standards were H. officinalis ‘Dachny’ and O. vulgare ‘Khutoryanka’. The counts and observations were carried out according to the methods of the State variety testing of crops and the methodology of the experimental work. The harvest of dry herbal substances of H. officinalis was influenced by the amount of precipitation during the growing season and the hydrothermal coefficient: r = 0.675 ± 0.116, r = 0.463 ± 0.071; for O. vulgare the correlation coefficients were r = 0.596 ± 0.176, r = 0.302 ± 0.273, respectively. On average over three years, the harvest of dry herbal substances varied in genotypes of H. officinalis from 0.81 t/ha to 5.08 t/ha; and in genotypes of O. vulgare it varied from 2.65 t/ha to 3.82 t/ha. Promising sources for the yield of dry herbal substances, which can be used in further breeding work were selected: H. officinalis 1-1.2, 4-1.3, O. vulgare T-1.3, T-1.1.

Keywords: spicy-aromatic plants; Origanum vulgare; Hyssopus officinalis; harvest of dry substances; weather conditions; correlation.
