Abstract. The work was conducted to study the dynamics of natural resistance in different pregnancy periods of Holstein cows under the conditions of the Moscow region for the timely treatment of the animals. The work was performed in the Klenovo-Chegodaevo experimental farms (Moscow) with tie-up housing and in the stud farm Barybino (Moscow region) with yard housing. The studies were conducted in the lactation period of the Holstein heifers in 2017–2018. The periods of pregnancy amounted to 36.50 ± 6.75 days (N = 10), 89.80 ± 8.76 days (N = 7), 151.30 ± 6.17 days (N = 22), and 264.00 ± 9.83 days (N = 10). It was determined the quantitative content of IgG and IgM in the serum using simple radial immunodiffusion and cellular immunity factors (leukogram and phagocytic activity). The correlation indices between the parameters were determined at the studied cows’ pregnancy stages. The IgG content reduced significantly from the 36th to the 264th day of pregnancy (by 8.19 mg/mL) that was associated with colostral synthesis of IgG in the mammary gland. The positive IgG/IgM correlation was observed in all the pregnancy stages. This indicated the activation of the synthesis of these stable globulins and stable state of the animals’ immune systems regardless of the pregnancy period. The largest number of significant correlations (7) by the 90-day pregnancy period was due to the development of the fetal immune system. The data obtained may be useful in correcting the factors of natural resistance during the cows’ pregnancy period.
