Abstract. The dissemination of innovative methods and tools for industrial poultry implies the use of modern techniques for assessing the economic efficiency of their development. The studies aimed to develop uniform methods for calculating the additional cost of products, accessible for users and adapted for the poultry industry, as well as to determine the effectiveness of using a digital platform for the economic evaluation of the development of innovative veterinary methods and means in poultry farming. We proposed 10 methods for calculating the additional cost of poultry products (hatching eggs, day-old chickens, meat and market eggs) obtained by increasing their quantity and quality. The developed methodology of economic assessment was implemented using a digital platform on second-order breeding farms and poultry farms producing meat and eggs in the Chelyabinsk and Tyumen regions and the Chuvash Republic. The software, written in the VBA programming language, running on a personal computer of any type, provided for the analysis and processing of significant amounts of information, a large number of heterogeneous factors and processes that formed the basis for the economic evaluation of veterinary methods and tools development effectiveness. Database management in the Excel spreadsheet allowed accurately complying with the structured, strictly defined sequence and orderliness of calculations, both actual and predicted indicators. The software allowed for the quick and accurate economic evaluation of production indicators of poultry farms producing different products. It opened up opportunities for 100% automation of calculations, errors control, and reduction of the time spent by the veterinarian on performing the relevant procedures 14.3–19.0 times.
