Abstract. The article outlines the principles of the transition of various industries (including the agro-industrial complex) to a post-industrial technological paradigm based on environmental principles. The objective reason for such a transition is technosphere activity within the framework of industrial technological paradigms. The fact is that this activity violated the planetary ecological balance and caused a global crisis. The current unstable balance can be maintained by eliminating contradictions between the developing technosphere and the biosphere losing its stability taking into account the general biogenic essence of the technosphere and biosphere, and their interaction and complementarity. For this, technospheric development should be based on ecological principles implying optimal life conditions, production and services for a reasonable civilizational development with a stable biosphere. This implies that living matter is the main property of the Earth, capable of increasing its effective material and energy resources by the transition to a post-industrial technological paradigm. Its main task is to ensure sustainable development of the interconnected living and inert matter of the biosphere and technosphere. Meanwhile, key factors and bearing branches will be formed under the dominance of the life-supporting functions of the biosphere over its material and energy resources. Existing industries should be transited to a post-industrial technological paradigm with traditional physicochemical and biological processes and production of goods and services mainly by developing nature-like technologies. They include innovative developments based on fundamental natural laws, cyber-physical systems, convergent and logistic approaches, preserving life-supporting functions of the biosphere and the existing material and energy planetary cycles designed to maintain a stable balance in the technobiosphere. The presented provisions can underlie ecological principles of technosphere development.
