Abstract. The studies aimed to determine the effectiveness of phytosolution use for the prevention of endometritis and increase of reproductive function of cows. We studied the antimicrobial effect of a phytosolution based on medicinal plants approved for use in medical and veterinary practice: creeping thyme (Thymus serpyllum L.), (FS.2.5.0047.15) and wild chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) (FS 42). The work was carried out in Selyana LLC in the Kemerovo region in 2021–2022. The scientific and economic experiment was carried out on black-and-white cows. For this, according to the principle of pairs-analogues, including safe calving, 4 groups of animals were formed, 6 heads each. A solution of a mixture of extracts of creeping thyme (Thymus serpyllum L.) and wild chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) at a concentration of 2% (1 g of both components per 100 ml of warm boiled water) was injected into the reproductive tracts of cows of the I experimental group; of the II experimental group – 4% (2 g of both components); of the III experimental group – 6% (3 g of both components). The cows selected for the experiment were in the same feeding and housing conditions. Preparations for intrauterine administration were used in all groups of cows in compliance with the rules of asepsis and antisepsis. The introduction of the phytosolution contributed to faster involutional processes of the birth canal, as a result, 50% of cows were fertilized in the first heat in the I experimental group, 66.6% in the II, 100% in the III, against 16.6% in the control.
