Abstract. The research aimed to study the effect of peptides of the enzymatic hydrolysate of the bursa of Fabricius broiler chickens on the immunity of laboratory rodents with experimental immunodeficiency in order to scientifically substantiate the use of bursal peptides in the weakening of the immune response. The results of the introduction of the enzymatic hydrolysate of the lymphoid tissue of broiler chickens to mice of the C3H, C57BL/6, C57BL/10, SJL lines with cyclophosphamide-induced immunodeficiency indicate the absence of a pronounced cytotoxic effect on blood cells. Animal lines C3H and C57BL/10 showed an increase in the number of medium cells with a decrease in the proportion of lymphocytes, activation of the maturation of erythrocyte, neutrophil, basophil, monocytic and lymphocytic bone marrow sprouts. There were no general effects from the introduction of an enzymatic hydrolysate of lymphoid tissue into the thymus of mice of various lines. In SJL animals, on the background of enzymatic hydrolysate therapy, a significant decrease in the cortical substance was observed, accompanied by a decrease in the number of CD3 cells. In C57BL/10 mice, there was a decrease in the number of CD3 cells in the thymus medulla without a decrease in its total cellularity. In mice of the C3H line, a decrease in the content of CD3 cells in the white and red pulp of the spleen was observed. In animals of the C57BL/6 line, there was a significant decrease of the red pulp with a significant increase in the number of CD3 cells in the red and white pulp and a decrease of the reactive centre. In immunodeficient mice of the C57BL/10 line, after treatment with an enzymatic hydrolysate of the lymphoid tissue of broiler chickens, an increase in the area of the reactive centre in the white pulp of the spleen was observed; of the SJL line – in the area of the white pulp. The results of the assessment of the immunotropic properties of the enzymatic hydrolysate of the lymphoid tissue of broiler chickens using the model of experimental immunodeficiency based on the analysis of regenerative processes in the organs of haematopoiesis and the assessment of the functional activity of immune cells indicate some activation of the immunity of laboratory mice with experimental immunodeficiency against the background of the use of the enzymatic hydrolysate of the bursa of Fabricius.
