Abstract. The research aimed to analyse the current level of digitalization of the Russian agricultural sector and identify the most popular digital solutions for agricultural producers to optimize business processes. Modern AgroTech solutions are aimed at increasing yields, product quality and production efficiency without extensive expansion of production capacity. In 2021, about 10.5% of households in Russia used different kinds of digital technology (most often it was Big Data – 23.3%, additive technologies were the least often – 1.3%). In connection with the imposed sanctions, the research focus was on domestic AgroTech developments and the readiness of agricultural producers for significant IT investment. The most demanded and promising systems are remote control of production (90% of such solutions are Russian developments), the use of which allows to increase productivity by 15%, profitability by 25%, and reduce fuel and lubricant costs by up to 50%. Domestic IT platforms for electronic procurement and sales allow saving about 40 million roubles per year. The "virtual master" systems in animal husbandry make it possible to ensure 100% quality of finished products and increase labour productivity by up to 15%. Since the use of digital technologies, the Internet of things, artificial intelligence is becoming an important condition for competitive agricultural production, the main direction of state support is to create a single digital platform by 2030 for making operational decisions, as well as forecasting and modelling the development of the agro-industrial complex.
