Summary. In the three-factor experiment on common chernozem a comparative study of the efficacy of different doses of hydrogel Rita -10 under the second winter wheat, which occupies the Stavropol region of about 0.5 million hectares and most suffer from lack of moisture. Influence of method of sealing-off of hydrogel was studied: more deep – in a layer 0-22 see at the traditional turn ploughing and shallow on 10-12 see. As a result of two years of research found that most seeding depth Hydrogel was in more arid environments 2012, while the less extreme 2013 year impact of this factor was irrelevant. Hydrogel in doses 200 and 300 kg/ga in the conditions of Central Predkavkaz’ya render positive influence on the accumulation of productive moisture in soil, protecting it from evaporation. Depending on a variant the supplies of moisture in a meter layer on the different stages of development of the second winter wheat on 4,2-105,0% exceeded a control value (without a hydrogel). The improvement of water supply of sowing was instrumental in the increase of efficiency top-dressed (N60P60K60), increase of the productivity of the second winter wheat on 3,3-6,3 c/ga or 13,0-24,9%. Joint application of Hydrogel and fertilizer (N60P60K60) provides increased productivity the second winter wheat on 8.1 -17.4 kg/ha or -68.6 31.9%. Application of Hydrogel leads and improve the quality of the grain: crude gluten content depending on the year of studies and options increased to 0.2 -3.6%. Thus, as a result of two years of researches the positive role of more high doses (200 and, especially, 300 kg/ga) of hydrogel is set at till of the second winter wheat in the conditions of the insufficient moistening of Central Predkavkaz’ya.
