Summary. The investigations were carried out in 1964-2005 to monitoring agrochemical properties of arable soils in Novosibirsk region. During the period of investigation weighted average content of mobile phosphorus increased, reached 147 mg/kg to the 7th cycle and it stabilized at this level. Weighted average concentration of exchange potassium decreased by 18 mg/kg (from 176 to 158 mg/kg). The portion of acid soils increased by 23.5 %, including weak acid soils – by 20.7 %, medium acid ones – by 2.2 %, and strongly acid soils – by 0.2 %. The weighted average acid value declined by 0.4 (from 6.6 to 6.2). In 25 years (1980-2005) the humus state of arable lands in Novosibirsk region deteriorated, which resulted in increase in areas with low and medium humus content and, respectively, in decrease in portion of soils with higher (by 3.7 %), high (by 3.5 %) and very high (by 3.9 %) value of this index. Weighted average humus content decreased by 0.7 % (from 6.4 to 5.7 %).
