Summary. On the basis of analysis of changes of soil fertility indices in Rostov region for 50 years the strategy of development of agrochemical service in the region was proposed. This strategy should be pointed to the solution of following problems: accumulation of the optimal level of nutrients stocks in soil by using of scientifically substantiated methods and doses of mineral fertilizers; reach of mineral fertilizer application level, which is necessary for retention and restoration of soil fertility, which for Rostov region is not less than 450 thousand tons of reactant yearly, including 139 thousand tons of phosphorus-containing fertilizers during 2…3 years; involvement of larger quantity of lands in agrochemical survey; restoration of the system of intraeconomic land management at level of municipal rural settlements.
