Summary. The influence of new predecessors of flax (vetch-oat mixture, white mustard on a green feed, barley on grain and spring rape on seeds) and intermediate cultures: overseeding (winter-vetch mixture, annual ryegrass, annual clover) and after mowing (white mustard) on green fertilizers in links of flax crop rotation on yield and quality of flax production is studied. That replacement of the predecessor of fibre flax – spring barley on vetch oat mixture productivity increased of all and long fibre flax at 2,5 and 1,1 quintal-ha accordingly, flax seeds – at 0,8 quintal -ha. Using white mustard as after mowing intermediate culture after cleaning of the predecessor of flax vetch oat mixture increased productivity of all fibre at 0,6 quintal -ha (6%), including long fibre – at 1,8 quintal -ha (25%), improved its quality at 0,9 numbers in comparison with flax planting without intermediate crop. While plantig fibre flax after white mustard as predecessor with its mowing productivity of flax seeds increased at 0,7 quintal -ha (22%), all fibre – at 3,2 quintal -ha (39%), long fibre – at 1,8 quintal -ha (27%), quality of a long fibre improved at 0,7 numbers. Seeding winter-vetch oat mixture with annual ryegrass before barley planting increased quality of a long fibre at 0,6 numbers, productivity of all fibre – at 2,5 quintal -ha (30%), long fibre – at 0,3 quintal -ha (5%), flax seeds – at 0,3 quintal -ha (9%).
Keywords: fibre flax, yield, quality of flax, predecessors of flax, intermediate cultures.
