Summary. Under the conditions of Western Siberian forest steppe, there was carried out the evaluation of yielding capacity and the productivity elements of spring soft wheat varieties of different types of maturation when sown in bare fallow, and autumn plowing after crop harvesting. The material for was the varieties included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements of the Russian Federationand breeding lines, made under various eco-climatic conditions. Novosibirskaya 15 cultivar of soft spring wheat was taken as a standard. When grown in bare fallow, all the varieties studied formed significantly higher yields than that grown do it in the variant of autumn plowing. The varieties Iren, Novosibirskaya 29, Novosibirskaya 31 and Svecha reacted more strongly than the others to changes of the growing conditions and formed 51, 48, 50 and 53% of yield under autumn plowing after harvesting in comparison of that obtained in bare fallow. This indicated that these varieties having high productivity potential may give unstable yield. When sown in autumn plowing after harvesting. It should noted the stability of the varieties Novosibirskaya 22, Tulun 15, Chernyawa 13 * Fora and Tulun 15 * Rechka. Their yielding capacity autumn plowing after harvesting in cjmporison of grown in bare fallow was from 67% do73. In general we can say that the yield and yield structure of the early-maturing varieties are not inferior in mid varieties. And in some cases surpass them, which give us the opportunity to cultivate them in a sharply continental climate of Western Siberia.
